You are invited to travel back in time and imagine life in the past in Rome.
A. Search for life in Ancient Rome. And then answer the following questions.
1. According to the Roman legend, who founded Rome?
2. Who were the Etruscans?
3. How did Rome grow?
4. Why do you think the Roman built a strong army?
5. What was Carthage, and why did Rome go into conflict with it?
6. What were the Punic Wars?
7. Why was the Roman army important?
8. Why were Roman roads important?
9. Who was Julius Caesar?
10. What events led to the creation of the Roman Empire?

N.B. Students will be tested on the content of the summer work, when back to school. After handing in the summer work to the teacher on the first week of school, the grade will be considered as a first test. 30 points will be deducted from the test as penalty for plagiarism in case the work is copied from the internet as copy paste.
• Students will be graded according to their class level.
